Starting July 1, you can apply for funding for your pond under the “My Water” program. If your application is accepted, you can receive up to PLN 5,000 but the amount cannot exceed 80% of the costs incurred after June 1, 2020. Who can apply for the grant?
The government programme addresses the needs related to water shortage. It is open to owners of single-family houses. The subsidy will cover the purchase, assembly and implementation of household installations which will retain snowmelt or rainwater. The “My Water” program will be implemented between 2020 and 2024 . The Minister of Climate emphasizes that it will allow to finance as many as 20 thousand installations of domestic water retention, which will relieve the sewage system and reduce the risk of flooding in case of a violent storm.
You can spend the money you receive on: construction of an underground retention reservoir, pond, rainwater drainage pipes, soaking installation, as well as elements necessary for irrigation or water retention.
You can submit your application to the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management appropriate to your place of residence. Detailed information can be found on the fund’s website.
