This gardening season will be all about…nature. However, this does not mean that you do not have to take care of the lawn or leave the flowers alone. It is worth taking care of the garden and arranging it in a hygge style.
Hygge is a Danish philosophy of happy living, which translates into many different areas, including garden design. The trend is convincing more and more people because of its warm atmosphere, ecological materials and environmentally friendly elements. A hygge garden requires less work and a well-kept lawn which looks like a meadow or a forest glade will certainly appeal to everyone.
– Plants such as conifers, deciduous shrubs and trees for garden planting continue to be popular among garden center customers, while sales have recently risen sharply in the perennials, grasses and bedding plants category. Own organic cultivation is also very popular, this trend, which we observe not only among producers of fertilizers or substrates, is reflected in plants sales and it is a nice tendency – says Marzena Bartosiewicz, owner of Hortorus Garden Centre and founder of Greenery, to Newseria agency.
Of course, in addition to greenery in the garden, it is worth betting on bright yellow. According to Pantone, it is also the shade of the year 2021. Opt for large candles on the terrace, lanterns, torches, as well as decorations made of natural materials. Among the most popular are wood, linen and bamboo.
