Wondering what lighting would work best in your home? Are you planning a renovation or maybe you just want to make some improvements? You’ve come to the right place. LED lighting has many advantages that will noticeably brighten up your rooms and help the planet at the same time. LED bulbs are energy efficient and, compared to conventional incandescent bulbs, they cut your electricity bill.

Big is not better

When you compare a standard incandescent bulb to an LED light bulb, it’s safe to say that the former is gigantic. How can you take advantage of this advantage? If only in this way, thanks to the small size of LEDs, you can also use led spotlights in those places that are inaccessible to normal bulbs.

All the colors of the rainbow

Modern LEDs allow you to change the color of the light, which allows you to create an amazing atmosphere in the room. Additionally, they are controlled with a remote control, so you can freely adjust the color and intensity of light from your armchair or straight from your bed. This is an interesting solution for gaming corners, where colorful LED strips will add an amazing atmosphere to the gaming area.

SMART lighting

Thanks to the latest technology, you won’t need light switches anymore. LED bulbs with a smart option allow you to control lighting with an app on your phone or even thanks to voice messages given to personal assistants such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. They guarantee you the option to change the color of the light from warm to cold, a dimming function and to turn the light on or off completely. An interesting solution, which is also enabled by smart technology, is setting a schedule, so that the light will go off at any time you choose

Wide selection

LED bulbs come in many shapes and sizes, so it’s easy for you to find the light that best suits your needs. What types of LED bulbs are there?

  • candle bulb – perfect for a chandelier or a wall lamp
  • spherical bulb – smaller than the classic bulb, ideal for modern interiors
  • reflector – used for directional lighting, perfect for rooms in the attic
  • linear bulb – ideal over a bathroom mirror

Percentage of visible light

Did you know that a normal light bulb converts its energy into only about 5-10 percent of the light you see? This is called LED efficiency, which in the case of LEDs reaches 80-95 percent. This means that the rest of the supplied energy incandescent bulb expends in the form of heat, while the LED bulb can give up only five percent of it! This means not only incredible efficiency, but also savings. As a result, you’ll have to replace your light bulbs much less often, both benefiting your wallet and our planet.

Extra long life

How many hours does the average incandescent bulb last and how many hours does an LED bulb last? The average incandescent bulb lasts between 750 and 2000 hours, with the loss of light always surprising you. How many times have you had a bulb suddenly burn out, late at night? And in how many of those cases did you not have a new one to replace it? In the case of LED bulbs such a thing will not happen. Not only because they shine from 30 to 100 hours, but also because led bulbs do not suddenly go out. Slowly, over time, they simply lose their power, glowing less and less. So you can prepare yourself for the fact that you will need to replace them soon. What you’ll find on the package as the life of an LED is usually the point at which it loses thirty percent of its brightness. So you’ll never be left with a completely dark house, even if you prepare to make the change exactly as the manufacturer recommends.
